A summer afternoon break in the swing, resting from the constant farm chores. It is not so green right now, but we are looking forward to the warming of the soil and the renewal of life.

- Jesus is the way the truth and the life. All of what is here in this blog and on our farm flows from the abundant, new life God has given me (and us) through Jesus Christ. Jesus' invitation is real: "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
